Battle Ground Matters To Me
As a lifelong Washingtonian and the daughter of a U.S. Army veteran, I was raised to value integrity, hard work, and service. My husband and I have had the privilege of raising our children here in Battle Ground, where five have graduated through the Battle Ground School District. I treasure our small-town charm — Friday night Tigers football, strolling past Main Street’s locally owned shops, and enjoying the strong sense of community that makes this city our home – but the Battle Ground I love is changing.
I no longer feel safe riding my bike along busy roadways or leaving my vehicle unlocked. Our roads are congested, schools are stretched thin, and utilities are overburdened – not just because of development, but because of poor planning and misplaced priorities.
I’m running for City Council because I want to help preserve our rural roots and unique character, helping to guide our beloved city with transparency and fiscal accountability. I bring a strong voice for responsible growth, traffic safety improvements, small business and commercial development, nature trails and recreational activities. Let’s restore trust, preserve our hometown identity, and plan wisely for the future.
